Crayford is one of the oldest and most successful greyhound track's in the UK. There has been a tradition of greyhound racing at Crayford since 1938, when it was called the Crayford and Bexleyheath Stadium.

In 1975 Ladbrokes took ownership of Crayford, and sister track, Monmore Green in Wolverhampton.
