Reading Statistics
It's worth checking your website statistics on a regular basis to see what's happening with search phrases and daily visits. Search Phrases give you information on how visitors have found your site through search engines. Visits tell you how many visitors have been to the site in a time period. If you can see that certain keywords are doing well, you know which to nurture. This may also give inspiration for similar keyword or themes to investigate. If you don't currently have access to your website statistics, existing customers please contact Eonic and ask for a login.
Search Engines
None of the big three (Google, Yahoo, MSN) ever give detail of when, where or how. The effects of an SEO update could take up to three months before a full overview of effect is apparent
Competing sites will also affect your own listings as they will be read and judged at random points in time. For more details on search engines, Eonic recommends Web Dragons ISB-10: 0123706092 usually stocked by Amazon.com.
